is Reynaud's phenomenon ?-- It is a condition characterize by change in color, pain in the fingers associated with exposure to cold. On exposure to cold, they suddenly lose circulation & turn pale. On rewarming, the blood flow returns, the fingers turn first blue & then slowly return to normal color. This may take 10 to 15 minutes. What is the cause of Reynaud's phenomenon ? The exact cause of Reynaud's is not fully understood. However what is clear is that it is caused due to immunologocal disturbances.
